Cereal Milk Chocolate

I was craving something sweet last night and I was trying to come up with something quick with ingredients just in my pantry. Back when I went to Los Angeles I got the Cereal Bowl Chocolate Bar from Compartes Chocolate and I remembered was going to try and create my own version.

All you need for this super quick snack is white chocolate or white chocolate chips I ended up using two bags of chocolate chips to fill a cookie sheet, and cereal. I used Lucky Charms Cereal and next time I am going to use Fruit Loops Cereal.

All you have to do is lay out a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Melt the white chocolate in the microwave or on the stove. Once the chocolate is melted take a spatula and spread the melted chocolate on the parchment paper till a thin layer is covered about half and inch thick. Next sprinkle the cereal all over the chocolate and lightly push on the cereal to make sure it will stick in the chocolate. (Next time I think I will crush the cereal first). Lastly put your cookie sheet in the deep freeze or freezer for about an hour or leave overnight.

And there you have it!

Walk in the Woods

Went for a little hike after work today. Just outside the Jasper Parks gate at the Pocahontas Cabins. They have lots of little hikes around that area it was such a nice evening for a walk in the woods. After the hike we drove up to The Miette Hotsprings to check out the Punch Bowl falls and stopped for the best frozen yogurt ever! Evening well spent!

New Ideas

Trying to be more creative and taking steps that will leave me feeling inspired and refreshed. Taking more time for my body and mind. Hoping to teach some art classes, work on meal planning, plan big goals, stay positive and go day by day, try my best to be stress and worry free.
